I just got this stamp set and decided it was time to ink it up! I love the little houses and wanted to use fun, vibrant colors. On the CASEs of Suchi's vibrant colors and Kim's card from the November CASEplorations challenge. I like how Kim has the weight at the bottom of the card, so I decided to do that. The background looked a little to open to me so a sun fit in perfectly. I wanted the sentiment to be able to be read against the dark background so I used white embossing powder. I took a little bike die cut and colored it. It fits in perfectly in this little town!!

ReplyDeleteLove how you were inspired by Suchi's card and Kim's design. Thanks so much for joining us at CASEplorations.
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling little hillside...those cute houses and your touch with the bike is perfect! this totally reminds me of Sand Francisco and all their hills and all the houses that are exactly as you depicted!# And you know if there are three colors on the houses, they are called Painted Ladies ( I think the style has to be Victorian ) but your houses could definitely be "The Painted Ladies"! Thank you so much for sharing this at Seize the Birthday! ps...love your sun!!
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of San Francisco too. It is also very hilly there. Whoever is riding that bike better have strong legs. Beautiful happy card. The expression is perfect. hank you for joining the DL.ART Thankful Thursday Anything Goes November Linky Party. Katie-DL.ART DT member
