I'm Going Batty

This bat is bringing Halloween greetings as it is driving my grandson batty.

Happy Halloween and I am off to North Carolina to see my grandson that is driving me batty.

Grateful

Have you had a chance to play along with STAMPlorations Stamps and Autumn challenge?  Rember, you can use either the theme or sketch.  You can also enter the challenge SIX yes 6 times!

I accidently found a new technique.  I colored my image in colored pencils and it was not vibrant enough for me.  Then I went over the colored pencils with a Copic marker and it magically shaded the pumpkin.  The ink moves around on the wax surface and when it dries it looks glossy.

To finish off my card, some patterned paper was added on the bottom.  A few distress ink splatters were added and the sentiment was stamped.

I am grateful you stopped by today and have a great autumn!

Be A Rainbow

Today we are celebrating the life of one of  our STAMPgirls, Melissa Lane.  Melissa like bold colrs and butterflies as you can see some of her art at STAMPlorations.

This card uses the smoosh technique to create the  background rainbow.  The sun and white butterflies were stamped and embossed.  The rainbow was colored, die cut and nuvo dropps were added to the clouds.

Sending prayers to Melissa's family during their time of loss.  May they be uplifted and comforted.

Stars In The Night

Kids like getting mail so it is time to send some Halloween cards to my grandkids.  The card is  simple but gives kids spaces to poke their little fingers through.  My little granddaughter will love the glitz on the pumpkin!

I cut an oval through the two layers of paper just smaller than the pumpkin.  The sentiment is embossed in white.  I stamped some spider webs inside the card.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you get more treats than tricks this Halloween.

A Sleigh Full Of Holiday Wishes

A sleigh full of holiday wishes is the pink card for Jingle Belles pink Christmas.  I just love this challenge.  It is also fantastic that a donation goes to the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation.

The background was stamped in pink distress ink.  A sleigh full of pink packages and some sequins add more holiday cheer!

Thanks for stopping by and if you have time, make a pink card and link it to Jingle Belles!

Just Chicken In

I needed a tag to wrap around a can of chicken noodle soup to give to a friend that is under the weather.  Just wanted to let her know I was checking in on her and hope she has a speedy recovery!

Spooky

Things are going bump in the night as the ghost delivers a brew of coffee.  Now isn't that just spooky?

This card was so fun to make.  The ghost is floating through the open space and it has bats and eyes watching!  The sentiment inside says "ghostly greetings"!    This is my coffee exchange card this month so there HAS to be coffee.

Enjoy the month of October and all the spooky festivities that go along with it!

Trendy Leaves

Hello stamping friends!  The STAMPlorations challenges are back in full swing and the theme is

Lately when I sit on the deck I hear the plunk of acorns falling on the tin roofs.  The landscape has turned into beige corn stalks and brown bushes.  The color comes from pumpkins appearing on doorsteps and trees leaves turning the brilliant red, orange and yellows.

Trying to capture the colors of fall, red, yellow, brown and green are used on today's card.  This is such a nice sentiment and by stamping another sentiment inside, this card can be used for a lot of occasions.

I'm Glad Your You

Embracing some new colors in my wheelhouse today.  Because the colors are so bright and cheerful, the sentiment and image had to match!

Prepare yourself for giggles!

Have a fun filled day, be creative and try something new!
