Sending A Cheery Hello

Tea time!  This is A Day For Daisies image and I just love it..

After coloring the image, the background was distress blended.  I used a grunge stamp for the side piece.

The Early Bird Gets The Coffee

The early bird gets the coffee...except in my house...the early bird has to make the coffee first!!

I thought the robin blue cup of coffee in the nest with the bird announcing coffee was kinda punny! A little laugh to start off your morning.

The stamps are So Suzy Stamps.  The base layer uses STAMPlorations Broken Glass stencil.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the spring hop!

A card for a birthday that is packed with birthday fun!

The water panel was made using a STAMPlorations stamp and three colors of ink with a white gel pen.  Then, the two circle punches were used to punch out the little fish and clam.

Hello Brew tiful

Hello spring and hello coffee!  Are you ready for a complimentary cuppa joe?

Stretching my dies today, I used STAMPlorations Coffee Cup Silhouette die and cut the coffee cup and steam out of the frame.

Going through my hoard, I found this hello piece that works perfectly to offer a compliment!  I thought the coffee beans looked like how you make coffee, put the beans in the top of the pot, press a button and magically coffee appears!  How better to start your morning than with complimentary coffee!

Counting Monments

Yesterday I saw two robins and the snow melts as fast as it falls.  These are the signs that spring is in the air.

Using distress inks, the background was made.  Then I sprayed distress spray on the Hidden Hearts stencil and pressed it on the paper.  It looked like the delicate veins on a butterfly wing.

Trendy Butterflies 2 was stampped and embossed.  I just love the sentiments with this set.

A Two-fer

Wow!  Color one design and get two cards!

This idea was on Jennifer McGuire Ink.  I had to punt and put together a few flower stamps.  I used a STAMPlorations sentiment and CUTplorations.

The top has clear embossing and the colored image at the bottom.

And then reverse it to get the second card.

Beauty Is God's Handwriting

Let go and create!  My biggest problem with creating a background is cov ering it up.  A patterned piece of paper, no problem to add your images and embellishments.  A hand created background...which part do you cover?

Colorburst created the first layer of the background.  The butterfly was stampped and embossed.  A flower stencil created the mutted flowers in the background.  Texture paste and a stencil made the circles on the right side.  Versa mark and white embossing powder made the small white dots.  Then distress ink made the edges.

The butterfly stampp is vintage but timeless.

On The Go

With the unusually warm weather this year, we have seen people out playing on their mopeds and enjoying a splash of fresh air!

While going through the embellishment box, I ran into this wheel button.  When I saw the sketcxh, it worked perfectly into it.

Here is the card based on the sketch.
