Hello Jackpot

Oh boy, do I love a garage sales and today it was JACKPOT garage sale day!  Embossing powder four colors, not opened,, cheap, cheap, cheap!  There were also stamps that had to come home with me.

When I got home from the morning activities, my STAMPlorations order was in the mail.  So, today, I have put together the two and created a masculine card.

Thanks for stopping by and do something creative today!

MHK Designer Inspiration; Jerrie

Happy Birthday to our fearless leader, Mynn!  She needs a special cyber birthday card so here it is! Using a fun card in a box design, this fun birthday card was created.

MHK Designs has recently released this Eat Your Cake set and it is so fun to use.  All the goodies inside the box were colored and some were added to an acetate strip so it looks like the items are floating in the air.  Swirls worked perfectly to fill in some empty spaces.

This box folds down and fits in an A2 card envelope.  How fun when the receier opens it up and it pops up into the birthday box!

Mynn, hope your birthday was super fantastic!

Crazy Bird

I love these Crazy Birds stamps!  I have paired it with the Mixed Media Grunge set from STAMPlorations and have added some splatters.

You have to read in between the lines because the sentiment is cute.

Reflections

Embossing powder that was MIA is now accounted for!  This is distressed embosisng powder and I do not even know if you can still buy it.

This card was created by stamping the images in the background.  Then the heart was stamped and embossed with red distress embossing powder.  A Copic was used to shadow the heart.  The edges of the card were distressed and the sentiment was applied.  I found the metal heart on some earrings and used it on the card.

This card holds such a nice sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Dragonfly

Time to refill the thinking of you card supply.  I like having cards with a inspirational message to send out for many reasons.

Distress paints were used to create the background.  I wanted it to look distressed and whimsical.  Then I put Versa Mark through circles on a stencil. White embossing powder was added to the circles and heated.  The dragonfly was black embossed and then a mint pearl embossing powder was applied to the inside wings.  It was placed on a doily.  The sentiment and black chevron was stamped to finish the card.

I get to go to Becca's to see her new house and use her craft room this weekend...super excited...and...she is going to show me some new techniques...and I have a list of  stamp stuff we need to try!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello. Rpse

It is always fun to get together with my sister and make cards.  We got out the Twinkling H2O's and watercolored this rose.   The Twinkling H2O's have a pearl shine in them. I love the deeper center and the lighter petals.  The leaves are also colored.

Using patterned vellum, thsi card was created.  A simple hello was stamped on the vellum as this card is going to a friend.  Then, this gorgeous gold die cut was placed over the colored rose.

Happy Birthday, Now And Later

I am thrilled to be a guestie on Through The Craft Room Door and thank them for the opportunity!

This project is using a Dr. Digi's design.  I chose this image of the camera producing a picture that says happy birthday!  I love fun, colorful birthday cards but today, I made a birthday gift card holder(for later) and a few chocolates (for now).

After I made the holder, I colored and cut the image.  Then I used a candle die to cut lots of glowing candles.  Stars were cut with a punch.  After they were added to the holder...it is time to fill it!

The gift card and chocolates are ready for the recipient!

Hope you have a great day filled with suprises and chocolates!  Thanks for stopping by.
