I saw a picture of a quilt block that had the sunflower in the upper corner and the wording straight across. I liked the image and wanted to turn it into a card. I used the STAMPloations sketch challenge for November.
First I took distress paint and created the area behind the sunflower. Using black embossing powder, the words, sunflower and background was made. I used Copic markers to color the leaves.
I wanted a distressed look on the background paper.
