Oh My, Butterfly

I saw Barbara's technique and was so impressed with it, I had to try it.  I was so nervous because you cover everything up with black DI.

I sprayed the distress sprays on the paper.  Then I layered  die cuts on top of the paper and covered the whole thing with Black Soot DI.  When it dried and I removed the die cuts...magic happened.  I splattered some white paint on the front layer and black paint on the back layer.  The butterfly and Happy birthday are embossed.  I added a few white punched pieces and OH MY, BUTTERFLY!
