You Really Shinei

It is a color challenge at Catch The Bug today and this card has every color that is on the cake!

These little ladybugs live in the zoo too!  You will see some distressed circles in the edge paper.  I followed it through while coloring the flowers and ladybugs.

When I saw Rock My World, I fell in love with this globe and knew I wanted to make a card with it.  How perfect for the first challenge at  MHK Designs                       .

A card base was cut on the Cricut.  Grey DP was placed behind.  A transparent embellishment with resin stickeer adorn the globe.  A banner and buttion finish the card.

It's A Jungle In Here

Bugaboo is celebrating their sixth birthday jungle style!  Today is colorful jungle.

This giraffee makes me want to take a safari!  I have been playing around with leaving some white space in the coloring to make it look like a print.  The background DP gives the same open look.  The inside says "sending you a big hug, Happy Birthday!"

Wishing Bugaboo a fantastic birthday!

2016 is a year with new beginnings.

For example, there is a new challenge starting January 21 at MHK Designs.

It is a new beginning as I start on the design team at
MHK Designs .  The ETSY shop has great digital stamp sets and digital paper packages.

Just a little about me.  I live in Wisconsin which means in the winter, there is lots of time to craft.  I have three boys and I hear there is a special place in heaven for mother's with three boys!!  Two of them are grown and the third is in 9th grade.  I have two grandsons and a granddaughter due in April of this year!!  I like to travel, cook and keep busy.

So to begin my adventure, I created a color book card.  After adding the image, I added oodles of doodles and lots of color!

Wild Animals

Jungle love!  How cute is this elephant Bugaboo image!

I needed to make a 5x5 card to get this huge chunk of love on the card!!  A heart cut out, some dp, a few heart blings and a sentiment finish off the card!

The birthday sentiment  inside says "sending you a big hug  Happy Birthday!

With A Sequin Cherry On Top

Sugar Rush!  I love this stamp set because there are no calories involved! After all, meeting those New Year's resolutions to loose weight with a sweet stamp set!!

I pulled out my silver Wink of Stella pen to color the sundae glass.  A sequin tipped upside down makes the perfect cherry!

Finding Your True North

I have heard the term "true north" several times.   The term seems to mean finding the right direction.

This is a great beginning to find your direction, your true north.

Using Cracked Pistachio and Vintage Photo DI, the background was created.  It was stamped with a vintage stamp of mine.  Then I took a Versa Mark ink pad and bounced it on the background.  Clear embossing powder helped to creat texture.  After coloring with Copics, the arrows were embossed with clear embossing powder.  DP, twine and a button were added.
