Coffee To Go

It is fun to use your stamps and create your own background.  Believe me....I had to work for this card!  My stamp was missing from the package and I found it way under a stack of paper...craft room is cleaner though!

After stamping and coloring in some areas of the background, the coffee cup on the heart was stamped.  I had watched a video that you can take your muffin, donut or strawberry container and it acts like shrink art.  I stamped the cup on the plastic, cut it out and put it on a sheet in the oven.  It created a clear cup that i glued over the coffee cup.

Bottoms up and enjoy your day!

Take Note

It is a Dylusions day.  That is these vibrant paints that need to be unpackaged and used!  Now.  I have not used them before but have watch u tube tutorials and have read tutorials.

So, I added my bits of newsprint to a covered composition book  and started smearing the paint.  Then I stamped and stenciled.  I went back and added paint to the stamped heart.  It is just a beginning piece but with these bright colors I will be able to find it anywhere in the house!!  It will also be fun to write on the pages.

Thanks for stopping by.

Alcohol Ink Heart

Are you ready to get messy and have some fun creating?  This alcohol ink heart is messy and you never know exactly how the inks will mix and turn out.

To start, I took glossy paper and tightly taped down a stencil.  I am using the Hidden Hearts stencil by STAMPlorations.  If you like pristine stencils, I cannot promise they will be clean after using them.  Next, I put small amounts of alcohol inks in the stencil holes using enough to fill them but not douse them.  Sometimes the inks will leak out of the stencil holes but the results are also neat.

The tape has been removed and now the reveal.  The ink mixing caused a little black to appear in the design.

Now to die cut a heart and the word love.  Then emboss the card.  All the pieces are added with another embossed sentiment and some pearls.

Pretty snazzy huh?

Bacon And Eggs

I was so inspired by Shari Carrol's card on the love blog hop at Simon Says, I had to CASE and make one...or more!!  I did not have the exact stamp set Shari used but this set was close enough.

We had a card camp fund raiser to send my son on a band trip to Chicago.  There were five cards to make but this was my favorite one.

Love it!!

Love

Kisssss, Kisssss says the snake on Valentine's  Day.

This card is inspired by Jennifer McGuire,  I like the fact that it's design is versatile and can be used for kids and adults by altering the stamp you use.

The background was stamped in two different colors.  The extra elements were added and voila!

To make it for an adult, the background is stamped in two different colors.  Different elements were used.  I know the leaves are not perfect but in nature they are not perfect.

Thanks for stopping by and happy heart day!  Hope it is filled with tons of love!!

Happy Birthday

Birthday time!  Trying to get ahead on birthday cards to send out this year.  I address envelopes and put the finished card in a box with the addressed envelope and send it out in the birthday month.  This helps to get the card out on time and organizes me a little.

Lets make this card meet several challenge criteria.
