Pumpkin On The Vine

Thank you STAMPlorations for this great digi!  Coffee just goes with everything!!

The products used today are all STAMPlorations/ARTplorations.  I put Versa Mark through the Tribal stencil and them used clear embossing powder.  Then I took Spiced Marmalade DI and ran it over the embossing to color the background.  I used a dry brush to put the ink on the pumpkin and Copics to color the cups. A little string, some bling and a sentiment completes the card.

Thanks for stopping by and believe it or not...this is my LAST card for the CLBH...but...I will be back for the winter hop!!

Mr. Coffee

I saw these stamps at Crackerbox Palace and they just tickled my funny bone!  The come in both rubber and digi and since I wanted to do this for the CLBH, digi won!    I thought this vintage paper would be perfect to make a card.

For Hetty who runs the coffee lover's swap, this is the card that was sent this month and it should have arrived to her today.  I wanted to say thank you to Hetty for the work she puts in behind the scenes arranging the swap.

Have a great day and enjoy your Java!

Coffee Run

A little fall fun for you today.  This card features STAMPlorations Birds Of Paradise stamp set.  I love these birds and love the new die cuts that STAMPlorations have introduced to match the stamp set!  This makes making a card easy peasy!

Have fun hopping and thanks in advance for your comments!

Did I SCARE the coffee out of you?

Sometimes, my mind wanders...when I am drinking my coffee and cards are created!  I had this doily and pumpkin die cut sitting in the box and paired them together to make this coffee card.

I hope STAMPlorations does not mind the altered coffee cup because I think this card is a dandy for the fall season!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Boughs for the Wreath

Using Mojo Monday's sketch and Mo's Digital Pencil image, boughs for the wreath was created.

One year when my son was little, a friend taught me to make wreaths.  My son, with a red jacket on, rode in the wheelbarrow on the way into gather the boughs.  He was so eager to help and it was such a fun time.

The red paper is embossed with snowflakes.  Colored pencils were used to color the image.

MHK Designer Inspiration: Jerrie

Whoo hoo!  Today starts the new challenge at MHK Designs!

Wanting to stick with the fall theme, I used burlap and twine and colored the flowers in a cream.  The green was picked up in the leaves and the Deck The Halls patterned paper from MHK Designs.

Hope you join us this month for the challenge!  Thanks for stopping by.

Sled Friends

Have you or are you ready to start your Christmas cards?   Well, really, this image can be used through the winter season and for Christmas cards...extend your image use!

Today, I am using one of my go to desings at MHK Desings.  In fact, this card and the next two monthly posts will be Christmas cards using my three favorite images at MHK Desings.  Do you have those favorites you love to use?

I took a snowflake punch and mades some masks.  Then I sponged ink around the snowflakes and they stand out so nicely.  Misting some water on the ink adds to the background.  A scissor edge creates the black lines on the edge of the card.  The image was printed and colored.   This image creates so many memories for me.

Wildthing

I saw a cutaway card and it was intriguing to me.  I just received this Birds Of Paradise stamp from Stamplorations AND you can get the die cut to go with it!  Now, is the time to ink it up and give it the first stamping!!  There is a lot going on with this card's real estate but today, the crazier the better!

I also used two other stamps that are some of my favorites.

I used a paint pen to add some white dots to the sunflowers.  Oh my, this card is crazy fun!

Celebrate

My sister has a little play group that gets together once a month to make cards.  I was invited to join but needed to make a card to share.

A friend had given me this silver paper that die cuts beautifully and has some thinckness so it also looks like you have stacked die cuts up and glued them together.  This STAMPlorations die cut worked great and then I used two of my very vintage Hero Arts stamps.

I has some scraps of paper to use for the colored edge...one red and one green.  The red is my favorite.

My sister likes the green with the splatters.

These cards are fun to make and I now have TWO more Christmas cards!!

Pumpkin Spice

I have four siblings...starting in August, there is a birthday every month through November.  This year, they are all getting a handmade card.  This card is for my sister Brenda who better NOT throw it away!!

I am going to do some masking and stamping.  Getting ready to go, I taped off the boarder.  I want an edge that is not rigid so I tore the paper befor I taped it down.

Now, to start stamping.  I started in the front and continued until the card was filled with stamped imaages.  It is at this point that I do not want to grab wrong colors or it is go back to step one.
The images are loosely colored with Copic markers.  White dots were added to some darker leaves with a paint pen.  Bronze and gold distress paint were used for accents on the leaves and acorns.  The "happy" was heat embossed.  A die cut "birthday" was added.

Now this birthday card is framed up for a spectacular birthday.  Brenda is a gardener and so I think she will love her birthday card!  I think I might be her favorite sister this year!

Trick Or Treat

This card is way to cute to spook!

I planted pumpkins this year and they were covered with flowers but no pumpkins.  I was so disappointed until a week ago...there, hiding in the vine was ONE small oragne pumpkin.  Now, these are the extra large pumpkins so I am looking forward to seeing how big it will get...each week it is a little bigger.

So, I am using my scraps to create this monster mash card!

Celebrate The Season

Gearing up for the Christmas card rush and trying to make a card once a week...so I am not searching through my cards and finding ZERO cards to send out to celebrate the season!

This is such a fun card to make.  I punched some snowflakes and used them as a mask on the card.  I added Peacock Feathers and Faded Jeans DI to the background.  Then  the brick image was stamped.  The sleigh was stamped and matted.  I love this snowflake boarder die cut and it is  perfect with this sleigh.   The sentiment was stamped and...get a head start and address the envelope!!

This card was made with STAMPlorations stamps, Memory Box die cut and a vintage stamp sentiment.

Jingle Belles

Over the hills we go...laughing all the way...oh jingle belles, jingle bells...are you singing yet?

How fun to have music challenges AND start making Christmas cards!!  This retro stamp set with the retro snowflakes is mixed with new stamps to create the background.  I love the pile up on the toboggan...reminds me of when we were little and four or five of us piled on to go down the hill!  Then...once in a while we could talk our Uncles into a downhill trip.
