STAMPlorations Stencil Bloghop

You are going to LOVE the new stencil release at STAMPlorations!

For this first card, distress ink was sponged through the Flowers 1 stencil.  Then, Versa Mark was sponged through and thick clear embossing powder was applied.  Yellow gems were added to the center of the flowers for sparkle!

On the second card, gold embossing paste was spread through the Leaves 1 stencil  The Fowl Play stamp setwas  stamped and colored and layered on the card.

If you have never stenciled before, it is easy.  Many mediums can be used with stencils.  Challenge yourself to use a stencil and see how fun it can be!

But First, Coffee

Just a little humor today to make a card for Simon Says food or drink challenge.   A wise stamper once showed me how to do a continuous stamp design.  You cut the front paper and lightly adhere it to your base cardstock.  Then you stamp the images.  When you seperate it with the middle colored cardstock it looks continuous.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your beverage!

Santa

AAH, the 25th day of 25 Days of Christmas Tags.  Now that the tags are done, it is time to start wrapping the presents and tagging them!  The last day of the event would not be complete if there was not a Santa tag.  Using Tracey's inspiration, the santa and sentiment, the tag is complete.

Thanks for stopping by and wishing everyone a Very Merry Christmas!

Caroling

It is time to tear it up with this Deck The Halls card.  After tearing strips of paper, they were glued onto the base cardstock.  With blue, purple and a metallic gelato stick, color was added to the cardstock.  It was fun smearing it around and adding color here and there until it looked like it was time to add more elements.   The background was stamped with months and the deck the halls image. The large snowflake was embossed with silver,  White snow was added with distress spray.  The duo of rabbits were colored and cut out.  Lastly the snowflakes and music notes were added.

Is it time to start playing that Christmas music?

The Season Of Joy

The STAMPloration gals are up with their tags today and I am loving Vicki's kraft tag with the white streaks in the background with the decorated tree in front.  Using a STAMPlorations stamp, the tree was cut, colored and decorated.  It is now ready to join the festivities at 25 Days Of Christmas Tags.

Wishing everyone a season of Joy!

Poinsettia For You

Day 21 and these tags are stacking up!  There will be tags on presents and som I am converting for use on cards.  In the end, they will all be used up!

Today I am inspired by Tracey's tag where her image is in the upper left corner and the wording is on the bottom.  I found this stamp and thought it would do the trick.  The white areas in the poinsettia are on purpose.  It reminds me of the poinsettia they spray with white at Christmas.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have your Christmas fever!

Celebrate The Season!

Day 24 and we are winding down at 25 Days Of Christmas Tags.  Lindsey has ihnspired ths tag with her image in the center and the wording at the bottom of the tag.  This set is a year old and it is time to ink it up and create with it!

Thanks for stopping by and let the holidays begin!

Magical Holiday Season

25 Days Of Christmas Tags is on the 19th day.  They have tags that make it look a lot like Christmas!  Teri created a tag that inspired me today.  I did not have small stamps so I used pattern paper instead.  These tags are so fun to CASE and I have gift tags for the holiday season!

Have a creative day!

Ice Cream For Sure!

There is still time to join us at STAMPlorations for the November Theme And Sketch challenge!  You can use the theme or the sketch to play along.

I scream for ice cream!  Do you have a favorite flavor?  Chocolate peanut butter revel gets a vote from me...YUMMO!

This card uses the Sweet Cravings stamp set and matching die set.  I also used the ATC Tag Builder die.  Acrylic paint was used for the medium on the second layering pieces.  The ice cream cone was framed to highlight the ice cream cone and all of it's goodness...it does contain calcium!

Now I am hungry!  If you would like to save 20% on your STAMPlorations order, use STAMPGIRLJERRIE.

The Stockings Were Hung

 tags
Today's tag, inspired by Lindsey. brings back so many childhood memories.  Each Christmas our stockings were put on the brick fireplace in hopes that Santa would come and fill them to overflowing!  Santa was always very good to us!

Thans for stopping by and I hope your holiday season is magical!

Golden Reindeer

Today's golden reindeer tag is inspired by Ardyth's tag.  I love the design of the tag and the kraft paper at the top.  I drug the sewing machine out and both I and Ricky tried to thread it.  AARG, that hole in the needle is LITTLE!  My friend came by and got the job done so I could stitch around the tag.

Simon Says has a its a stitch up challenge and I decided faux stitching would not be good enough for this challenge.  Now that the machine is out and threaded...I have a few quilts to finish...hopefully the needle does not come unthreaded!

Simon Says also has a fur friend challenge and this deer fits into the challenge.

Thanks for stopping by and stitch it!

A Tag A Day

Catching up with tags for the Twenty Five Days Of Christmas Tags.  Day 13 I was inspired by Miriam's monocrome tags with triangles, different shades of color and the gold script.  Using purple and trying to vary the shades, distress ink was pounced through a triangle stencil.  The gold sentiment was added.  Then I added gold to the edge because you can never have enough gold!

Day 14 Tracy has inspired me with her wreath.  I have a double stamp wreath I have been wanting to use.  The sentiment is embossed in white and add such a festive touch to the wreath.

AAH, caught up on my tags.  Time to have a cup of coffee and wait for day 15!

White on white with a splash of color!  A die cut piece of paper is layered on the white background.  There are white sequins layered on the white stripe.  It is a fun CAS card.

Red and white stripe paper is the base of todays Christmas tag.  Samantha had such a cute tag with a critter, stripe paper and that big eyelet to hold the ribbon is the inspiration for today.  I used clear sequins to look like snow instead of gold stars.

It is a blueChristmas...well at least this tag is a blue Christmas!  I was inspired by Amanda's tags that were done in blue, green and red.  They looked so cool and and fun!  I had blue fiber and sequins.

Believe

Today's tag for the Twenty Five Days Of Christmas Tags is a very special one.  It will be going to my Grandson in North Carolina.  Riley is in first grade and questions that Santa thing.  I found a school bus ornament for him to hang on his Christmas tree and used the word BELIEVE on the tag.  I hope he always believes in the Christmas story and in the reason we celebrate Christmas!

Lindsey has inspired this tag as she used a red tag   The white lettering and snowflakes  stood out so bold and bright against the red.

Thanks for stopping by and BELIEVE in the magic of Christmas!

Fa La La

 tags

Paper Sweeties is being showcased today and I have some of their products to use!  I love the quality of the stamp and die set from Paper Sweeties.

The inspiration is from Karen's tag.  I love the plaid print, black patterned ribbon, the stitching around the card and the hashtag.

I mixed those things with the heart die and faux stitched white piece that are Paper Sweetie's products..

Thanks for stopping by and onto day TEN!!

Through The Desert

These wisemen are following the star through the desert to reach the new born king!  They will bear their gifts and give thanks for our savior.

This is a rather non traditional looking card.  The sunset has yellow, orange, purple and black drawing eyes to the center of the image.  A snow white peace die cut was added in the stars.

Foxy

Day eight of
Twenty Five Days Of Christmas Tags and Mendi has used the little critters in the snow on her tags.  The blue surrounding the critters and the black dot panel behind each tag has inspired this tag today.  This little fox sitting in the snow with the black panel and blue bow complete the tag for day 8.

Ornament Tag

day 7

The tag today is inspired by Tracey's snowflake ornament.  The snowflake has glitter paper and is delicate and intricate.  I do not have a snowflake die cut so I chose the Christmas ornament die cut.  It is delicate and intricate.  The glitter paper is used in the lower layer of the ornament.  On the back of the tag, there is a to and from stamped.  This tag will be perfect hanting from raffia on a jar of homemade jelly.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Seasons Of Joy

Christmas Tags
Today's tag is inspired by Lindsey's tag.  The Christmas tree and green background with snowflakes caught my eye.  I like using just two colors and then the twine for the bow.

Thanks for stopping by and take time to enjoy the little things in life.

Merry And Bright

Day five of twenty five tags of Christmas and I am so glad Erum has inspired my tag!

For about a dozen times, I have walked into my craft room and this star seems to fall out of the die cut box onto the floor.  Repeatedly I have picked it up and put it back in the box to go into the craft room to find it on the floor again.  Once, I laughted to myself that this star wants to be used!

Today, that star has found a permanent place on this tag!  It was dipped into the Versa Mark and covered with silver embossing powder.  I just received the Picket Fence distress spray from Simon Says and I do not know how I made cards or tags without it!  I LOVE this product!

May your day be merry and bright.  Hopefully your craft stash gets used up too!

Joy!

Welcome to the winter wonderland!  The stamp box is pretty lean but there is a hat stamp!  Shades of blue and the shaped tage  from Jen's tag is the inspiration today.

After stamping and adding the elements and adding the sequins,  the tag was spritzed with shimmer mist for the sparkls.

This was a fun tag to make and use some older stamps.  Thanks for stopping by and if you are missing the snow, come and enjoy my winter wonderland!

Snow Birds

Here the skies are grey and the snow is falling.  This is the third snowfall this season and it is perfect weather to make tags!!  The snow makes me want to strike up the chorus Snowbird which is an old song but my sister always is singing it.

Day three's tag is inspired by the red bird, different style tags and the snowflake and button on the ribbon.  The inspiration has one bird but everyone loves company so a few birds have joined in!

The background is Crackle Texture Paste that I just received from Simon Says Stamps.  I was so excited to try it out.  You apply it, let it airdry and it crackles.  If you apply heat it may not crackle as much. The birds on the branch is a die cut and then I stamped the writing on them.  I like how each bird is different but together they make the collection.

This was such a fun card to make!  Thanks for stopping by and tag...your it!!

Trendy Leaves

It is getting serious here folks...we have had our first snowfall!  That means the fall stamps are put away and the winter stamps come out!!  But, before we do that, one more autumn card!

Using a stencil, the background was made.  It reminded me of the fall corn you buy where each kernnel is a different color.  A tag was corrugated with a brad added to it...yes, the brad box was pulled out.  Why have the brads been isolated in their box and not used?  Splatters were added and they did an unusual thing.  The splatters are dark on the inside and then casted a lighter hue circle.  Leaves were stamped and added and you have it...a fall card!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!
