Bubbles Happen

I was so excited when this set arrived in the mail.  I have tons of uses for this stamp and you will probably see it appear frequently on my blog!

I made this birthday card for my sister who has been quite a traveler this year.  She went to Murtle Beach, South Carolina.  Shortly after, she went to Hawaii and California.  It is just March Paula...you can not travel the world in one year!!  She has SCUBA certificate  and likes to go diving.

I made a second card to add to the box to send to a children's hospital.  I thought a boy could relate to the sentiment and would make him laugh!

I made a CAS card.  I masked and stamped the background netting look and then stamped the coral and turtle.  Using Peacock Feathers DI to add the water.

MHK Designer Inspiration: Jerrie

Welcome to the March MHK Designs chaallenge!  The grass is turning green and spring is on it's way!  How about a bright, colorful spring card.

Using the Beauty set, this image was stamped.  Then, another flower was stamped and popped up.  This flower set is so dainty.

The sentiment is from the Birds and Branches set.

Coffee

Are you into mineratures?  If so, this card is perfect for you!  The finished size is about the size of a post it note.  It is also a ton of fun to make!

Isomg a scalloped circle die cut, I made a side step rocker card.  It sounds intimidating but is quite easy to do.  Decorating it is fun with all the great coffee images out there!

A Long Happy Birthday

Whaat do Mustard Seed, Cracked Pistachio and Abandon Coral Distress Ink have in common?  They are the perfect colors to create an amazing background for a cute card!

I saw a quilt with this giraffe image and it had a background on it.  I did not know how I was going to create an image behind the head and then found this stamp.  I wanted it to be a birthday card so the sentiment was exactly the same length as the neck of the giraffe!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone!

I was cardmaking at my sister's and digging through her scrap box.  The background paper on this card SCREAMED use with the Bunny Love set!

I am not a computer wizzard and have just started working with dropping your color into an image,  This being said, I did not want black tulips.  I punched flowers to replace the tulips.  This is a quick way to use your digital stamps!!

Fruit Basket

How fun is this to create an arrangement out of fruit!  My niece/goddaughter loves these arrangements.  She wanted these instead of flowers when her fourth child was born and recently gave a friend whom had just had a child a fruit arrangement.

Well, I cannot cut my stamps  up to make a fruit arrangement but used my stamps to create this card for her birthday.  I love the little pineapples dancing down the card.

Silhouette

This is one of my absolute favorite stamp sets.  The sentiments have such a nice variety and the image embossed in any color looks spectacular!

I love the look of the black flower silhouettes against the colored background.  To me it looks so peaceful and calm.  Using my scraps,  a few punched swirls and an embossed background  with some layering finish the card!

Spring Butterfly

I am in need of birthday cards!  Yesterday, I addressed envelopes to put the card in so it is ready to send out BEFORE the birthday!  So now, it is time to fill the envelopes.

I just received this new stamp set and wanted to ink it up!  My friend loves butterflies and a butterfly will work perfectly on this card!

The card is full of whimsical goodness!

Newton's Law

Creating a little artsy card with some of my supplies.  I recently heard a comment that any new supplies should not make your old supplies obsolete.  I got two new stamp sets and could not wait to ink them up.  I am using Media from Dina Wakely and Dino Things from STAMPlorations.

Using different medias, alcohol markers, watercolors, an elegant writer,  distress inks,  diamond glaze(on the eyes).seed beads(on the heart) and metal brads, this "dino"mite card was created.

O'Latte

Top of the morning to you!  A little Irish inspired card is perfect for this month and what is better than a little coffee to go with it!  Besides, I am feeling a little "lucky" because this cup image you can download from STAMPlorations!

Patterned paper was used along the bottom of the card and for the cup.  There is a shamrock on top of the latte and of course, gold thread.
