Daisy

Eureka! I achieved a negative image of a stencil. I love the Bubbles stencil from STAMPlorations but I really like the negative image. I sprayed the stencil with a green glimmer mist. Then I pressed the stencil on newsprint. Note to self...the mist dries lighter than it goes on. I stamped a Daisy from STAMPlorations Bloom Sketches set. Then, I cut it out, colored the center and added some bling. I dipped the cardstock in Mowed Lawn DI and then spritzed it to try to get different texture on the cardstock.

It has been fun learning about stencils and using them. They can create great backgrounds.

  3. OH MY GOOOOOOODNESS! You are really outdoing yourself with these awesome designs, lady! And yes, the mist does dry lighter, unless you apply a layer of gesso first. Great job with the negative image! And as always - you're a STAMPlorations rockstar!
