Uh O, trouble is brewing ahead! This little cat has gone fishing!
I used orange distress paint anad put it on my embossing folder. Then I ran it through the cuttlebug to create the background. There is layering and one naughty cat!
The Cricut cartridge used is Fury Friends.

I've often wondered what would happen if I had a fish tank! I am not taking the chance - poor fishy! I am so happy to see another kitty card from you! Love these die cuts and your gorgeous background!
ReplyDeleteOh man, that poor little fish is in for it!! I love the inked embossed background! I like to use this technique to add an extra layer of color and texture when I use embossing folders too! This Cricut cartridge would probably get a lot of use if I had it (and if I had a Cricut...hah!). Your card is just adorable!! Speaking of fish bowls and cats, I had an aquarium full of mice for awhile (we bought 2 female mice who turned out to be pregnant and so we ended up with 23 mice...ugh). Our cat, Tina, managed to figure out how to remove the wire framed top from the aquarium and I found her sitting inside the aquarium, watching the mice scamper too and fro as they stared in horror at this orange Tabby in their midst. Tina had no interest in harming the mice at all, she just thought it was her days entertainment....her own private kitty TV !
ReplyDeleteThat story is way to funny!
DeleteThis one brings back memories for me lol, we won a gold fish and out lovely beasties really thought we would let them have it! Had to get a tank with a lid because they wouldn't leave it alone. Thank you for reviving a lovely memory from when we were owned by cats. TFS Karen x
