Childhood

This card is for the children who are in a domestic violence situation.

If you have ever read one of Becca's post, you will often see the word "MESSY". I thought it would be fun to try to duplicate one of her
techniques. It indeed was very MESSY!! I even had to call Becca to get instructions!!

I took the STAMPlorations stencil and distress paint and three pieces of cardstock. The first piece I put the distress paint through the stencil . The second piece I placed on top of the stencil to use the paint that did not go through the stencil. This is the second print and a cool print. The third piece I did a third print from the ink still left on top of the stencil after the second print. I will post that card tomorrow. Needless to say, there was purple all over!! The cool thing though, is that you get three cards!!

After the paint dried, I went around the white parts with a black pen. OOPS, some I was not very accurate on. When you put the card together it really all blends in.  CASing one of Mynn's  cards  from On A Stampage:

I embossed the image in black and added purple buttons.  And my Childhood card was created.

Stamps Used: Unity
Stencil used: STAMPlorations

  9. The stenciling technique turned out great but I'm not completely sure I follow how you did it. Anyway, I love that you chose to do a card featuring kids for this cause. Really nicely done.
