I saw a canvas on Pinterest and wanted to duplicate it as closely as possible on paper. After embossing the piano keys on the side, the black keys were colored in. Black paint was feathered out with some splatters on the opposite side. I had metal music charms that I heated and dipped in white embossing powder. Each card get one metal charm and two paper punched music notes. Happy birthday was white embossed for the sentiment.
Did I mention I have four siblings? Yes, they all call on your birthday and sing the happy birthday ditty! These cards will be perfect for my brother and three sisters. They are also all different.
Well, I am ready for their birthdays this year! They will also each get a phone call with a sily birthday song!!
Have a happy day.

When you said musical cards I half expected them to play music, Jerrie, but this is the next best thing. Adding the notes and embossed charms to the keyboard makes the card extra special. Thanks for sharing it with us at Just Us Girls.
ReplyDeleteLove these musical cards in black and white! I think I need to pull out my music stamps and take some inspiration from these. Thanks for linking up with us at Seize the Birthday!
