Moonlight Deer

Today I am trying Jennifer Mcguire's letter press technique.  Using three circles, creating the setting sun on an autumn night was the goal.  I used the Simon Says Wednesday mood board for my inspiration.  In Wisconsin, the sun goes down and you can see the deer grazing on the edge of a field.  Sometimes you can count up to a dozen deer in the distance.

The last circle looks line the moonlight is shining catching a glimpse of the deer.

This is a fun technique.  You use three die cuts stacked and glued together with a die cut of vellum on the bottom.  You dab or rub your die ink on the vellum and them place it where you want it on your card.  Then you run it through the embossing machine and it presses the ink and image into your cardstock.  I added the deer and the stamped leaves.

  1. I like the picture you painted of your deer at sunset, Jerrie, and your card is a great representation! Thanks for playing with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
