Distressed Sunflower

I saw a picture of a quilt block that had the sunflower in the upper corner and the wording straight across.  I liked the image and wanted to turn it into a card.  I used the STAMPloations sketch challenge for November.

First I took distress paint and created the area behind the sunflower.  Using black embossing powder, the words, sunflower and background was made.  I used Copic markers to color the leaves.
I wanted a distressed look on the background paper.

Leaving you with the encouragement of God's Word in Psalm 27:1 which says, "The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear?
