Oh Happy Day

Just playing with the Shutters stencil from STAMPlorations and Simply Crazy Birds from Tim Holtz. Using pages from a magazine, I stamped two bird images. Then I layed the stencil over the images and chose which areas I would fill. I wanted bold stenciling to cover up the newsprint. I colored the birds with copics and added a little color under their feet.

My daughter in law has a mason jar bird feeder and feeds the birds so I am going to give her this card for her birthday. The inside says "Happy Birthday".


I love the end result of the newsprint background. I also like the newsprint goint ghrough the birds eyes.
