Coffee Break

Where has the time gone?  Summer has been amazingly busy for me and card making took a back seat.  The garden produce has now been processed and all the other activities have been attended to, so now it is back to being creative!

But first. it must be coffee break time!!  These fall colored cups tell me that soon we will see the oranges, yellows and reds.  The weather will make that hot coffee warm you insides.  It will be hoodie time!!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of summer!

Burger Time

AAH, for the love of summertime and outdoor grilling!  My son is usually the person behind the grill and we always laugh and say "Don't touch my buns until my burgers are done"!

I have had this bbq paper in my stach for ages and was excited to find this burger sticker!  A little stamping and punching, some scrap paper and this card is ready to send to my son!

Thanks for stopping by.

Fun In The Sun

My BFF and I spent the weekend at a cabin enjoying the water, sun and her family.  I took a whirl at paddle boarding.  Although I did not stand up, I did not tip or fall eaither!!  We filled the days floating on the water and the evenings around the campfire

So. I recreated our weekend with stamps and ink.  Hope you enjoy the beach scene!

American Butterfly

It is getting grungy around here as we create a new species of butterfly.   The American butterfly has made it's debut for the fourth of July!

This card was so fun to make.  The butterfly stamp has veins in the wings and the veins had to be masked off.  Then the stripes had to be stamped.  Paint was used for the vibrant colors.  Stars and grung were stamped and if needed, embossed.

Hooray For The USA

July 4 bromgs BBQ's, my son marching in the parade blowing on the tuba, love for our country and a tribute to my mother as it was her birthday.  Besides. birds are always welcome at your backyard BBQ, right?

So this card had to be special and include all the festivity of July 4th.  It has stars, stripes and birds for my mother.

Have a happy July 4th and enjoy that corn on the cob!!

Wear A Crown

For the love of pineapples and dentist appointment cards!

Be a pineapple, be sweet on the inside, stand tall and wear a crown.  My sister loves pineapples and how appropriate to make her a pineapple birthday card!

I recycled my son's dentist appointment card, not because of a shortage of patterned paper but because the colors matched!  It has the months of summer in different fonts.

'Thanks for stopping by and be a pineapple!
