Grateful Moments

Dear Valentine: I am sending you some love.  Stacking up some valentines that will soon be going into the mail.  I do not know why but this is my favorite holiday.

Ruffled Feathers

Sometimes, we just need to take advice from the birds! When life gets tough, don't let life ruffle your feathers!

This is an easy, emboss, texture paste and go card.  The bird stamp I have had and thought it would be pretty in gold.  The extra curves are part of the design.  I wanted to remove them but resisted.  Instead, a leaf branch was added in gold with  texture paste.  The sentiment was embossed in white and added.

Warm Winter Wishes

Schools are closed today as there is black ice on the roads and we are expecting blizzard like conditions.   A good day to stay inside, cover up with a blanket and find a good movie to watch.

Using acrylic paint and white distress spray, the background was made.  Next, a few wintery words and snowballs and snowman face in the cup add some winter appeal.  Glittered snowflakes and patterned paper finish the card.

Chasing those winter blues away with some colorful valentine fun.  Love is filling the blue skies with some heart bearing robots!

The base of the card was run through a cloud embossing folder.  Next, a panel was stamped with various blue colors of distress ink.  Robots and hearts were stamped and fussy cut.  Extra clouds were die cut.  The sentiment was stamped and embossed and all the pieces are ready to assemble.  A strip of paper and pearls add the finishing touches.

My winter blues are gone...how about yours?

Nuts And Bolts

Caution: Sharp curves ahead!  No, you are not reading a street sign,  STAMPlorations challenge for January is stamps and curves.

Going through the stamps and die cuts, I found some dangerous curves that will work perfectly for making an adorable valentine card.  The die cut is Clustered Hearts and the stamp set is Little Robots. This will be a great valentine for my grandson and it is not to mushy.
