It is hard to shine when you are distressed, but with some glitter, you can shine!
Today, a tutorial straight from my craft pad. The craft pad has been well broken in...I have some addresses on it, glitter stuck to it, spots of glue, but a new one would look the same in several days so I go with it. Don't mind the workspace, it is the work in progress you will get to see.
I started by punching the stars, Next came rubbing three shades of blue distress ink on the craft pad and misting it. This is the first dunk through the ink.
After drying, the paper goes through the second dunk. There are a few white spots but it looks like the evening sky.
After that dried, watered down acrylic paint was put on the end of a paint brush and splattered on the card. Clear packing tape was put across the punched images with the sticky side facing up covering the punched images. Yellow ultrafine glitter was put over the sticky tape.
Using STAMPlorations stamps, the sentiment band was stamped and the sentiment was embossed on the sentiment band. The card was completed by rubbing the darkest distress ink on the edge of the card and adhereing it to the white card base.
