Rainbows

Hello stamping friends!  Are you looking for your pot of gold?  Perhaps this month you will find it because the theme this month at STAMPlorations is stamps and rainbows.  I have heard if you find a rainbow there is always a pot of gold waiting!

Remember, you can either join in with the theme or the sketch.

Using the smoosh technique, distress inks were swiped across an acrylic block.  Then all the colors on the block were misted and smooshed onto the paper.   Let the block sit on the paper for a few minutes for the ink to absorb into the paper.   When the paper was dry, it was cut with a circle die. The chipboard letters did not take the swoosh technique so well so I used my fingers dipped into the distress ink and rubbed my finger across each letter.

All of the art pieces were stamped in distress ink and fussy cut.  After all the words and letters were added to the rainbow circle, clear sequins were added.

Thanks for stopping by and may you have a creative day!  If you would like to save 20 percent on your STAMPlorations order, use the code STAMPGIRLJERRIE at checkout.
