What a great cause to bring out the blue! It is such an honor to make a card for the awareness of Autism.
For my card, I went out of my comfort zone and purchased distressed paints. Using blue and green, I dabbed them on an embossing folder and sprayed it with water. Then I took the cardstock and placed it on the inked embossing folder and gently touched it to soak up the color. Then, it dried. I love the image!! Then I stamped the goldfish image and colored it with Copics and fussy cut it. I added birthday fishes, sequins and the goldfish bag to the card.

Hi, Jerri! Again, your card is so sweet! Thanks for your comment on my blog...to answer your question about if the plant I used was a stencil or stamp, it's Lawn Fawn's Stuck on you stamp and die set. Happy crafting!

ReplyDeleteI was delighted to find this blog hop in aid of Autism as our 8yo son has low spectrum autism. He is a wonderful boy, much loved by many. Your card is brilliant! Our son has some pet goldfish and loves them. Last week he had to cope with the death of one....it was difficult but with a burial service and tears we all got through...! Thank you to all the sponsors for supporting this cause.
ReplyDeleteAnne, if you stop by again or get me your address, I will send this card to your son...my pleasure. I am so glad your son has such great parents and he has enriched your life.
