Today, I was getting some fun mail ready to send out and I spyed a film strip embossing folder that looked lonely. I was thinking of what to use on this sketch challenge and then the idea hit me.
I inked the folder up, not to carefully, because I wanted some smudge in the strip. Ran it through the Cuttlebug. The strip on the card base and it looked like a wall. Perfect backdrop!! Making some splatters...if anyone can enlighten me here on splatter making, it would be appreciated. I ended up with three large dots and a shirt full of black specs!! Then the image from the STAMPlorations Vignette Ever After was embossed and cut out. His feet were placed on the bottom of the film strip to create the wall/floor effect. A few hearts were added and it is ready to enter into the STAMPlorations bi weekly sketch challenge.http://stamplorations.blogspot.com/2015/01/bi-weekly-sketch-challenge-25.html

ReplyDeleteThis is just oh-so-romantic! I love the splatters. I think the best way to make splatters is with distress inks. Smoosh on a craft mat, spritz with water, dip in a paint brush and FLING! Yep, it's messy!
