Fresh Baked

In the kitchen today with a great inspiration photo.  I just finished a making a shadow box with vintage kitchen gadgets so this photo really inspired me!  My BFF and I get together at the holidays and mass produce cookies for holiday trays.  Last year we made a tray for the nursing home activities department bake sale.  It was raffled off and a gentleman whos wife was in the nursing home won the tray.  He was so excited because he had homemade cookies!  All the procedes for the raffle went to funding the activities department activities for the residents. This is the stuff that blesses your heart!

Using stamps and die cuts they were placed in the heart.  I think everything is here but the kitchen sink!!  The rolling pin was popped up.

Life Is Better With Friends

Here is a shout out to all friends, you make life better!  The other thing that makes life better is fall colors and the cooler weather!

Using purple, orange and yellow with splatters of black the background was created with distress ink.  Two stencils were used to get the circles in the upper corner and the purple squares in the lower corner.  The sentiment was stamped and the boy was stamped and colored.

One of the best things you can be is a friend!

This cheerful duck/chick image is one of my favorite stamps!  I just think all the different face expressions and animal sizes are neat!

Coffee Break

Where has the time gone?  Summer has been amazingly busy for me and card making took a back seat.  The garden produce has now been processed and all the other activities have been attended to, so now it is back to being creative!

But first. it must be coffee break time!!  These fall colored cups tell me that soon we will see the oranges, yellows and reds.  The weather will make that hot coffee warm you insides.  It will be hoodie time!!

Christmas In July

First Christmas card of the year!  Using this cute reindeer stamp and a sequin that lets you know Rudolph is around this card came together!  I am alos glad when I can use up bits and pieces of my scrap paper!  With Rudolph this card has four layers.

Burger Time

AAH, for the love of summertime and outdoor grilling!  My son is usually the person behind the grill and we always laugh and say "Don't touch my buns until my burgers are done"!

I have had this bbq paper in my stach for ages and was excited to find this burger sticker!  A little stamping and punching, some scrap paper and this card is ready to send to my son!
