Hello Butterfly

But-ter-fly, an insect with two wings usualloy brightly colored.

Yup, that is the kind of butterfly you will see on today's card.  The background was created using various sentiment and word stamps from Trendy Butterflies 2, Sentiment Builders:Happy and Hope Blooms.  The Hello word die was cut in black and tulip paint was used to add the dots.

Unlucky 13

My family has a quarterly card exchange and 13 people have signed up.  As we were stamping our cards, I was telling my sister about the NBUS challenge.  I told her it was a little different this time as you could post your blunders.  Like what she said.  Like I put my cards together and they open backwards or you stamp your card and something gets stamped upside down I was telling her.  My sister was listening and stamping her cards.  She just had the inside with the verse to stamp.  On the 13th card I heard this shreeeeeek.  Well, to make the NBUS blunders, one of these tings are not like the other...one of these things is just wrong...yes, thirteen times.  The card is horizontal and the insert is vertical!!  Yup, thank goodness they were not glued inside the card and could be turned over and restamped!

We did have a good laugh!

The calendar is loaded with birthdays and this card is going right into an envelope and in the mail!

Speaking of birthdays, I would like to give Simon Says Wednesday Challenge a big birthday shout out!  Happy 8th birthday!  Wishing you many more to come!!

I used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch.  The stamped panel is inked and stamped on photo paper first using versa mark to create some white shadows then in black.

Tea time!  This is A Day For Daisies image and I just love it..  

After coloring the image, the background was distress blended.  I used a grunge stamp for the side piece.

The Early Bird Gets The Coffee

The early bird gets the coffee...except in my house...the early bird has to make the coffee first!!

I thought the robin blue cup of coffee in the nest with the bird announcing coffee was kinda punny! A little laugh to start off your morning.

The stamps are So Suzy Stamps.  The base layer uses STAMPlorations Broken Glass stencil.

Birthday Fishes

A card for a birthday that is packed with birthday fun!

The water panel was made using a STAMPlorations stamp and three colors of ink with a white gel pen.  Then, the two circle punches were used to punch out the little fish and clam.
