Reindeer Games

What is a Santa to do when he finds this sign?  The first thing he should do is remove the sign and think...those reindeer...it must be reindeer games...after all...who does not love Santa!

This card was so much fun to make.  I made extra images of the reindeer sign and placed them down the side of the card.  Then I cut the card away to give it the zig zag edge.  The sign Santa is holding has a red bling nose for Rudolph.

Sending A Cup Of Holiday Cheer

Sending a cup of holiday cheer to you.  After the Christmas chaos of shopping, wrapping, baking it is time to sit back and relax with a cup of coffee.

The red paper was embossed with a swirl folder.  A little die cutting, a chip board embellishment and twine complete this card.

Pink Christmas

I'll have a pink Christmas!!

I started by printing my image from  JCLA etsy shop.  This image is called "Cup and coffee jar".  I colored the image with Copics and then brushed on some Worn Lipstick DI to add some darker areas.

I wanted to do a soft Christmas card out of non traditional colors.  I punched a snowflake using my Martha Steward punch.  This will be my stencil for the background.    The snowflake I punched had its edges dipped in Worn Lipstick DI to create the flower in the greenery.A snowflake bling was added to the coffee pot.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you are enjoying the hop!

Full Cup, Long Book

With the cold weather blowing, a cup of coffee, a warm spot and a book is the perfect snuggle up place.

I wanted this card to look like a library.  I used a wood embossed background with a stenciled layer,  a rich red holiday strip and a stack of books with coffee.

Christmas Chaos Last Day

The last Christmas Chaos card and my list is finished!

I am using a ARTplorations stencil and STAMPlorations is having a stencil blog hop linky party.

For my final card at Catch The Bug, I made a card using the freebie!  I chose the diagonal bingo of use a snowflake, ribbon and three layers.

I embossed the base card with a snowflake folder.  Then is a layer of stenciled paper.  The final layer is stamped and popped up.  glitter, silver string, a snowflake and the cute image was added.

The Gift Of Coffee

This is a gift for the coffee drinker that likes their coffee flavored.  The packaging makes this gifts extra fancy.

The first step is to wash your ornament and let it dry. This plastic ornament was staped on using Stazon black.  It was colored with copic markers.  Then white Stazon was used for the stenciling and snowflakes. Bling was added to the center of the snowflakes.  Pine boughs, pinecones and ribbon was added for decoration.

While it is drying, here is the recipe:

Chocolate Mint Coffee

2 8inch candy canes
1 cup coffee creamer
1 cup instant coffee
1/2 cup sugar
2 TBSP cocoa

Blend the candy canes into a fine powder.  Mix all the ingredients and store in an airtight container.  When ready to use, mix 2 to 3 TBSP mix to 8 oz hot water.

This can be made sugar free by using a sugar substitute and sugar free candy canes.  Using Cherry, Blueberry or Butterscotch candy canes changes the flavor.

This is the perfect little gift and the packaging rocks!

Christmas Chaos Day Six

My children love getting gift cards so they can choose the perfect something.  It is the easiest gift to find but then needs special wrapping.

I took the paper and created a double 1 inch crease in the center of the card.  Then I punched out enough of the center fold for the gift card to nestle right in.

Ribbon holds it snuggly inside until the recipient is ready to use it.
