Lift Me Higher

Yesterday, it happened...our first snow of this season!  Yes, that four letter word appeared...SNOW!  What a perfect time to finish my first MHK designs card.  I used sparkling silver paper around the image and next to the card base.  Then, I used a stencil and added glitter to make it sparkle!  After coloring the image, I wanted to add green trees and stamped them with a chevron print to add some texture.  It is a little difficult to see.

For You

This weekend our library had an open scrap day.  They have a cricut and some cartridges, stamps and ect for use.  I saw this cat cartridge and fell in love with it.  Now, I do not do many cards with cricut images but this was perfect for

I wish I had a stamp that said "loads of love" because it would have been perfect for this kitty hanging on the line with socks!

Spooky

Time for a cute, fun,  spooky Halloween card.

Using a stencil and Black Soot DI, the background spider web was created.  On the front paper, Halloween words were added.  Spiced Marmelade, Mowed Lawn and Dusty Concord DL was blended in various areas.  Spooky was stamped and embossed. Black Soot DI was blended on the edges and corners.  Bats and a Mummy were added to complete the card.

Barnyard Stars

I have seen a lot of coloring on kraft tutorials lately and wanted to try it.  I stamped the chicken/duck barnyard group on a tag.  Then I colored them with Copics.  I used a stencil with Spiced Marmalade and Mustard Seed DI for the stars.  Three stars were chosen and glittter was added.  A strip along the side, stamped zig zags and a sentiment makes this barnyard card rock!
