Must be dragon

Absolutely love this Bugaboo image! Red and black are my all time favorite colors! Crafty Gals Cornerhttp://craftygalscornerchallenges.blogspot.com/ is a new challenge blog and I want to play along!! There is a blog hop that started today and the design team did a fantastic job.
This little dragon makes a perfect valentine card. I used some leftover paper from my stash.

Teddy Bear

Won't you be my little teddy bear. Hiding in my Craft room http://www.hidinginmycraftroom.com/
has a pink color challenge. So, I am going to use two different stamps together to create a card. Stamps by Judith are fantastic! It is now Stamps by Judith and Heather. I have many sets of Judith's stamps. The XOXO stamp is a circle. I hand colored the hearts and X's on the stamp. Since I wanted it in the corner and not a complete circle image, I located the placement, huffed on the image and stamped. I stamped the teddy bear on another piece of paper...because I can not color in the linez. Then I fussy cut it and glued it in the center pf tje

previous image. I wanted to add a boarder so I drew squiggles and dots around the outside edge. Hope you enjoy!

If flowers were friends, I'd pick you

I went into my craft room and instead of getting swollowed...I found an OLD
stamp set that I have had forever and had not used. I decided to ink up this NEW set. I have to dedicate this card to Becca,http://www.damselofdistressedcards.blogspot.com/
She is my niece, my blog buddy, technical support and my cheering section. I honestly could not pick a better niece. The other thing, she loves valentines.


I used Mojo Monday's sketch.http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/

Using a background stamp, inked in pink, forms the layer the flowers are on. Then the upper flowers were stamped. Two extra flowers were stamped to be popped up in the front. Glitter was added to the white flowers for some bling.

Scribbles snowmen

Scribbles Design's has the image I am going to use this year for my valentine's cards. Watch for it in February!!

Hugs and Kisses and Butterfly Wishes

I had purchased two paper pads at Joanne's just before Christmas. This is my NBUS. Then I heard about DCWV's website. Since it was the end of December, I only caught a few of their projects. Let me tell you, I loved everyone of them. DCWV has a monthly sketch challenge for scrapbook pages and cards. I looked at the sketch for January and thought...I do not know about this sketch.

Then I scrolled down and saw the cards made with the sketch and decided to play along. Since I had just bought the paper, that is what I will use. is to use three patterned papers. There are a total of five patterned papers.

Since the paper is so gorgeous, I let it talk for itself. House of Cards http://houseofcardschallenge.blogspot.com/inspired me to use glitter. I cut around the wings of the butterfly after covering it with glass glitter. It looks like it is in flight. I thought Hugs and Kisses was the perfect stamp for this beautiful card!!

Let's Get this New Year started

Happy 2015!! I hope this year brings many good things your way. I started the year in the craft room and hope to spend many more hours this year there too. Freshly Made Sketcheshttp://www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/ has a great sketch I wanted to play along with.

This card fits into the Fusion Card Challenge.http://fusioncardchallenge.blogspot.com/ It is a fusion between the photo and the sketch.

NBUS is "new" to me.http://www.djkardkreations.com/ My style is layering but love the white space cards. So I tried a "new" style. I am going to make one white space or clean card a month...once again, "new".
I have also done "new" techniques on my card like using a punch vs paper for a banner and cutting dies and then running them through the inked cuttlebug folder as seen on the butterfly. I think I have found a "new" background I will be using this year. Oh, I am using my "new" sand copic marker to color the scalloped circle. That is a lot of "new" for 2015. Could not get up to 15 "new" things...but I tried!!

Oh my, I still layer... blue, yellow and pink... it is in the butterfly!!
